Emily Pittman’s dreams are awash with images. Of ornate tiles caked with garden mud, a sink filled with Red Rose stains, a door hanging in sticky bubblegum pink; the invitation to shelter, to sip tea, of music pouring from an open door. These dreams she translates into paintings, or is it the other way around? Whichever it is, we are blessed by her visions.

The world of colour has never been so vivid. A pastel recipe for beautiful dreams with magenta playfulls, a rose coloured faith, and her mom’s shade of blue. A fiery pink thread, a yellow glow pushing its way through, a slice of purple and the charming red line all play together, but in the fight between blue and green is it the proud royal blue or the sea foam green that prevails? At the end of the day, a tall stemmed red to toast the passing of the sun.
